Patsy Erskine-Hill on Imperial Russia: Tzars and Serfe
Patsy told us about the two “great” Russians (Peter the Great and Catherine the Great) and their influence on the Russia of their times. We also learnt about the serf painters who were the often unacknowledged artists who helped to create the glitter and grandeur of Imperial Russia.
