Steven Desmond on Artists in the Garden
Stephen will highlight the creators of exceptional gardens in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries – Jekyll, Lutyens and Peto – and the artists inspired by gardens, including Kandinsky, Tiffany, Exter and, of course, Monet.

Gavin Plumley on Glitter & Doom – Austrian and German Art in the Early 20th Century
Gavin will look at Austrian and German Art in the cultural and social context of the explosion of culture in fin de siècle Vienna and Berlin in the early 20th Century, with reference to Mahler, Freud, Klimt, Wittgenstein, Marlene Dietrich and the Bauhaus.
